Our Support Team continually strives to improve the level of service offered to customers. To fulfill this commitment, and to satisfy customer needs,  we are constantly evolving and enhancing the services we provide. We accept critical requests, that need immediate action, over the telephone and all other requests through our support website which is monitored throughout the day.


Software Support Plan

Through a fixed monthly or discounted annual fee+ Switch Software clients can ensure the health of their software and protect their investment by availing of the fastest technical support, free upgrades, new feature training and consultation on product development.

 

Technical Support: Our Annual Software Support Plan includes unlimited technical support. This includes answering product related questions; fixing defects and helping our customers work with our products.

 

New Features training: New Feature training will be provided free of charge either online or at the SWITCH training facility. Training can also be arranged onsite* for larger clients.

 

Upgrades and New Releases: Our software suite will be upgraded through Maintenance Releases, designed to fix minor problems or improve compatibility, and Major Upgrades, which contain enhancements and additional features. These upgrades will be made available at no change to clients covered by the Annual Software Support Plan** throughout the life-cycle of the product initially purchased.

 

Consultation: The SWITCH Software team is always at your service to help automate your company’s business process¥ into an efficient IT solution. Consultation on development and new features can be provided via telephone, online communication software tools such as MSN/Skype or onsite* visitation.

      

New Requirements / Changes

New Requirements fall under two categories. They can be completely new features or major redevelopment of an existing features that necessities a change to the process flow or structure of the software.

 

New requirements/ changes will be implemented in a client’s current software model at a negotiated price if required on an urgent basis or may be planned for release in a future version of the software at the discretion of SWITCH and thereafter made available free to customers covered by our Software Support Plan** .

 

Future releases of a software product may include enhancements previously billed to a client as a new requirement or change. This is at the discretion of SWITCH in line with continually improving and developing its product line. At the time of requesting a New Requirement/Change a client may request that the feature is not made available in a future general release but such ‘exclusivity’ will impact the pricing of the work undertaken.

+ The fee for The Annual Software Support Plan will be based on the version of the product originally purchased and may be adjusted annually to reflect client specific development.

 

* Travel Expenses may be billable to the client for onsite training, support or consultation. This will always be notified in writing for client’s approval before commencing travel.

 

** Customers not covered by our Maintenance and Support contract will be not be eligible for our free upgrades and releases and will be billed separately for each new available module or release version.

 

 ¥ SWITCH Software offers IT solutions to streamline your company’s business process however we are not able to create that business process for you. At the time of consultation it is important that company directors have a clear plan of how their business works and what they want a software solution to achieve for them.
